BioCaptain Denethor (call him Dene) is one of those people you're never sure if you want to meet in a dark alley or not. The highly motivated, deeply troubled thirty year old son of the steward of Gondor is known on the battlefield for his strategic leadership and his personal courage. Off the battlefield, he's known for his keen intelligence, ferocious wit, a silent and stony demeanor, a fondness for books and archives, and his frequent clashes with his father and another captain named Thorongil. He suffered a head injury several years ago during the course of a battle that has given him some memory problems -- patches of memory are hazy or come and go seemingly at random as he struggles to make his way in the world. Gifted with an uncanny gaze that seems to see right through people (along with an ability to articulate just what he is seeing), and a rare height in his city, he has all the bearing of a regal lord, and the heart of a hero.
